Pause and Reflect

Two things before I start, one- she is still gorgeous even in this cracked out pause and two- I am a huge fan of the Nathan Fillion, so yeah expect Castle and Firefly throwbacks.

Oh Stana! Girl you look how I feel. The beautiful Stana’s performance as sexy, kickass detective Beckett was so tragically interrupted. But she does look how I feel currently. In a surprisingly early catch-up of this week’s episode of Castle, we find the duo of Beckett and Castle back in action. The team is investigating the murder of a tv soap writer. I love the fact that Nathan Fillion was on a Soap and that we get a bit of whimsical Castle back in this episode, thankfully so, after a few weeks of some heavy stuff.

I’m going to blame the chaos of this entry and the look on Stana’s face to my half a missing Heine six pack. Which leads me into why I had to pause so unfortunately, Nature called plain and simple. The beers are celebratory, I kicked some major teaching ass today. So here it is another piece of my life scribbled out there for enjoyment.

It Might Freeze That Way!

Pause and Reflect

For my first entry I’d like to do two things introduce myself and the blog and then get straight to the meat of it.

I’m a student, teachers assistant and student teacher in NY. My love of television, movies and reading are in a constant battle with my love of school, work and becoming a teacher. That being said this blog is exactly all of that. It’s my rants about life and how I get through it with tv, movies and books. As we all know life has its unexpected interruptions and we sometimes have to hit the pause button when we don’t want and never when we need to. So with that I begin my weekly rant.

Today’s image comes straight (teehee) to you from Fox’s hit show Glee. Featured in the unfortunate pause is the show’s lead Warbler, Blaine. Since I am all about catch up in my own television viewing I will refrain from spoilers. This image was so brilliantly timed when my mother, yes I’m 26 and live with my parents when the economy is better I’m moving into their basement, burst into my room and shouted “I can’t believe you could be so stupid!”. Her rage was due to the fact that when I did my laundry I forgot to reset the load on the washer, subsequently wasting 4 gallons of water a .39 cent value.

So there it is. I will post my image, if the show is more than a week old I’ll post a review of the episode, movie or what not. Then I’ll give you a little background onto why it is I had to pause, and then wrap it up with something beautifully non-sequitur.
